Quantification of therapeutic conflict in multimorbid patients
A treatment for one medical condition may be contraindicated by one or more other conditions or medications due to the effects of harmful drug-drug and drug-disease interactions (i.e., therapeutic conflict). This project focuses on developing and testing visualization tools that can aid the clinical decision maker in the process of identifying and disambiguating complex combinations of potentially harmful interactions, highlighting critical points of patient burden and prioritising treatment options.
